WEEK 5: MEETING STAKEHOLDER (JARENA)

As part of our Community Service Learning (CSL) initiative, our team reached out to J Arena , a sports facility football synthetic field venue located in Iskandar Puteri that provides a space for recreational and competitive sports activities and event bookings. We conducted an online meeting where all team members participated alongside the stakeholder to better understand the needs and challenges faced by the organization. Through this session, we identified a key issue — the lack of real-time booking synchronization in their current system, which can lead to double-booking and inaccurate availability displays. This engagement allowed us to connect classroom knowledge with real-world problem solving, marking an important first step in our journey to propose a meaningful solution for the community. for full recorded interview watch here: MEETING WITH J ARENA - YouTube

WEEK 1 & 2 : Course Overview & Introduction to Development Methodology

In our first week, we were introduced to the Application Development course (SECJ3104). The lecturer provided an overview of the course structure, objectives, and expectations. We learned about the course's focus on Community Service Learning (SULAM), where we would be working with a real community partner to identify problems and develop a solution. We were also introduced to the Agile development methodology and how it would guide our project throughout the semester.
